Default Walbro 255lph users, I have a Q??

For all you guys using a Walbro 255lph fuel pump, what did the pump raise your puel pressure to? What fpr did you use to get it back down to where it should be?

I jsut ordered one from import auto parts along with my new injectors. they should be here by wednesday which is perfect because I will be heading to the track on friday. I have a grudge match with my father. My ls-t vs his 99 c5.

Thanks guys

Well the aem fpr seems to be the way to go. How do you guys like the fit and finish of the fpr?

Depends if you bought the 255lph HP or standard 255lph.

the high pressure pump will take your pressure to about 55-60psi with the stock regulator

I purchased the plane jane 255lph pump, will my fp be raised much on the stock fpr? I have heard some horror stories about people not being able to get there fp back into a reasonable spec. I will be using rc 750cc injectors.

I'm running the 255 HP with an AEM FPR and a Marshall liquid-filled gauge on the fuel filter.

i just installed that pump, i have not checked the fuel pressure since then, but my car runs fine.
if people had problems with not being able to lower there fuel pressure it is due to a restriction in there return line/fpr. i cant imagine the stock setup cant handle any excess return unless the supply is overly large.
