Default VTEC and turbo.....

Ok now i have a simple question for you DOHC Turbo's out there....
with the Drag III kit, i can expect boost to come on around 4,000 RPMS correct??

what happens to the turbo at VTEC? is it a surge like N/A or is the VTEC switch over drowned out by the boost??? any comments are great!!! if they could describe the feeling that would be even better!

i think that in the gsr, the vtec switch over was never as noticable as in the preludes or si's (maybe do to the addition of the second intake runners) but with the turbo, once boost kicks in, it feels like a smooth power band without any noticable spikes in the curve...atleast as far as i can remember, it's been awhile since my car has been n/a.

the boost starts kicking big time when vtec comes on, so the car charges hard all the sudden... on my car I raised the vtec up (for an experiment) and when it came on I got an instant 50 whp bump.. it was like hitting nos.. bad ***... I lowered vtec back to stock 4400 becuase I think I prolly have more power under the line that way..
