Default Vortech FMU

Hi can everyone tell me about the Vortech FMU...can you tell me what it does besides that it is fuel management..does it control spark etc...can you tell me all what it does....

thats it, I thougt i would do more than that, like the greddy blue box which controls fuel flow and stuff.

It increases fuel pressure relative to boost.
ex: the 12:1 unit raises fuel pressure 12lbs for ever 1lb of boost.

you'll need a fuel controller when your using 310cc injetors or higher

The FMU may cause you to run overly rich under boost, in which case you'd need a way to trim fuel(fuel controller).

You should consider using the SFMU b/c it is adjustable and will give you much better tuning parameters. BEGI also makes a rising rate AFPR that works very well.
