Vibrant X 3... How quiet?
So I heard a lot of good stuff about these components, so I went out an bought them. I am going to try and get them installed in a few days but in the mean time I wanted to come here and see if you guys had any experience with this brand.
I want to get an idea on how quiet this setup can get me. My goal would be stock loudness, but I realize my only way to do that would be to get chambered exhaust.
Anyways, just what can I expect from this?
I (will)have 3" DP from the turbo going to a "ultra quiet vibrant resonator", then to another "ultra quiet vibrant resonator" then to a "black vibrant sleeper muffler" (3" the whole way)
Anyone got a similar setup?
Comments/opinions?
Thanks

Three straight through muffler/resonators should quiet the higher frequencies but I think the lower annoying, droning frequencies will still be there. I have a n/a k20 civic si w/ 3" exhaust w/ four straight through muffler/resonators that drones at ~2.8-3.8k rpm. I want to try a side branch resonator to see if it helps:

I know this is not a Vibrant muffler set up, but from what I have read, these mufflers are very legit. And you only need to buy 1.I will have one on my turbo set up. 3 inch.
