Default Venom Intake manfold... how the F do you make the IACV work with it?

i have seen that some people mount them on the fire wall, but how does that work, i mean, how do you even do it?? and what's the best way to mount the throttle bracket?

ran into the exact same problems as you.

IACV - use one of the vaccum ports on the manifold, run a line off of it. Braze a nipple on the back side of the iacv (where it would normally be mounted to the manifold), connect one to vaccum, the other can be left open, but on ours we used a small RC car air filter

TB, we stole a throttle wheel and bracket off of a GSR TB, and reverse mounted it. Worked great.

i run the JG sheetmetal manifold and there is no spot for the iacv on that one either as shown in my pic. what i did was just plugged it in and never hooked anything else to it and i never had a problem no checks no idle issues nothing and that was running the motor na and boosted no probs either way so maybe you could have the luck i did too haha and just plug it in and hope for no problems

I also have the JG custom manifold. I'll post pics later to show how I used the IACV.

You just **** on it, like in the r kelly tape..

I wonder if you could use an older style iacv that has factory hoses running to it..that would save having to attach hose fittings to the valve..

Hmm that sounds good also, I was thinking about making a plate and bolt it on and weld some nipples so I can run the water lines.

Why would you want to run the water lines? I would just bypass or cap off that bs right at the coolant tube.

We make some CNC remote mount IAC kits if anybody needs anything.

Tony does make some nice stuff, and if you dont have a lot of room behind his mounting block, you can put a 90 degree fitting on one port of the T1 adapter plate, and leave the other port open with a screen on it..

Or you could just weld an idle plate onto the top side of the manifold... Worked for me!
