Thin of them as 450cc DSM's without the resistor packs. The difference is the style of the tip of the Venom vs the RC (pintle vs lucas disk respectively).

I've never had personal experience, but I've talked to a lot of people that had great luck with them and some that dispises them

Venom stuff is crap. I know for a fact they were blowing up the supra motor because of a bad injector. They used there own stuff. Theres a long story behind this one but im not gonna tell it. I also hear of others having problems with them.

ok. which would be a better deal:

Venom 440cc for 220
or
Rc 440cc for like 300

basicallly are they really that bad and will they last for 6 months running .45 bar?

That just means you don't have any info/facts to back up your claims. Everyone knows that all stock injectors (including supra's) have pintle style injectors.

lol...ok sak, you buy venom injectors. Dont say I didnt warn you. I have plenty of facts. As far as you flip...id spend the extra money. I think you can get them for 280 for the rc's. I go that route hands down.

I agree, on Virens race car he tried them, dont ask why. They suck! We always had problems with them. We switched back the RC's in and no problems. Sucks is an understatement.
BTW, these were given to us by Jimmy himself.

I meet Jimmy at WIC last year that guy is one of the most "go geter" type of people I have ever meet. Always exicted about stuff. Venom stuff seems cheap to me. Granted I havent been in this long enough to say whats great and whats not but just looking at it, it doesnt seem to have the build quality of other stuff I have seen around. Just my .02 on it all I will be going with greddy's more than likely since a couple of HT members can help me out with those *cough earl and ninesecrx*

I'm running a set of Venom 720cc injectors and they appear to work well. They look like modified stock injectors but i am not sure of their origin.

Not having to run a resistor box was my main attraction to these units and the car runs and idles like stock with the venons. Thats about all i can say about them.

I dont know how reliable they are gonna be but i havent had any problems with them yet...

yeah the venom stuff just doesnt work jimmy made us a set of 1200cc injectors didnt work. called precision up next day aired a 96lb injectors works perfect finally we had to switch to 1200cc again when we ran out of fuel and only company other than venom is rc that makes it.

Venom does use some werid technology in there injector though.

The Venom/Supra story is true. It cost a relationship between 2 racers.

Hey flip, Camp1320.com has injectors the 440cc peak and hold and the 500cc sat .
he used to sell them for $265 shipped but due to some issues he had to raise the price. IM or email him hopefully you get a great price.

The pintle style tips may or may not be able to handle up to 1000cc's. This is only my assumption since all the factory pintle designs were not very big. Until recently, there were no other pintle designs rather than the disk type that RC has been using.

Greddy's are Nippon-Denso type (pintle design).

I like RC because they give a flow chart. Not many companies do that
the 720cc venons came with a flow chart, not that it means much for reliability.

i have a set of venom 440's in my JRSC ITR. no problems what soever, and the venom guys i spoke with on the phone knew their stuff and were very helpfulk. also sent my a flow test sheet. i recommend them. i like the pintle style spray pattern, but as mentioned above, at VERY high flow rates, lucas style injectors will be much better.

what looks the spray of an RC injector like? More than Lucas or more than Honda/Mitsu.

Is'nt the Lucas spray shity? I mean would'nt it be much better to have a spray like the Honda/Mitsu for combustion?

RC's are lucas disk, therefore it is exactly like the far right picture.

hm, is that kind of Lucas spray good? I think for combustion a wide angle spray would be better, or not? What is the way to go?

I personally like the stock spray pattern. However the RC's seem to be the common swap since they have been around for so long. And like mentioned before, up until recently, the RC's were the only choice because the pintle were not available in large sizes.
