How are they? Are they more acurate then the autometer? Im looking into getting a different boost guage than the autometer since people are saying its off by like 1psi, and I want a guage that is acurate, what do you think?

 

I know that the ppl in europe love using VDO gauges.. but I prefer the JDM-branded ones more. VDOs are effective and do the job, but they look too plain and simple.

 

i was looking to get a VDO oil pressure gauge, the only thing that kept me away from it is that u have to buy the sender and lines separate. As far as the boost gauge im not sure if the gauges come complete or not. anyone else wanna chime in?

 

I dont mind the looks, kinda hard to see when its in the dash since it is soo dark. I just need something that will do the job. My main concern is that it is quality and better accuracy then autometer.

 

The VDO and the Autometer mechanical boost gauge works in the EXACT SAME WAY. So they are basically the same in terms of accuracy. I've had them both and they both work well.

 

vdo gauges come stock in all vw's.....not that this helps your question any.

 

i have VDO guages...vac/boost and oil pressure. i liek 'em.
