Default Vavle Adjustment

My question is do you insert the feeler gauge between the cam and the rocker arm or the rocker arm and the top of the valve. I have done a search and got both ways. My head is a little noisy but I believe its the lma's but im going to check my clearances just for sure.

SOHC's are nearly impossible to measure between the rocker/cam, and pictures always show the valve/rocker spot. For B's, Helms shows it between the rocker/cam in the pictures. Specs are virtually the same, which still makes sense since you'd want the higher-rpm head with some extra clearance.

Its a b16 head that I am trying to adjust. That link above shows it being done between the valve/arm but others show between cam/arm. Im so confused.
