I don't believe you're suppose to have an FMU in a V-AFC hack setup...

you need a fuel pressure gauge to tune thingswith that FMU.

or ditch the FMU and get some DSM 440cc injectors and a set of resistors

How can u suggest that if you don;t even know what his setup is?? Hes got FMU and not hack! In any case 50% would be too LEAN!

if he's running lean already, the further you take the vafc into a negative value, the more it leans out the mix. you would need to go into a positive value to add fuel.

set it for +35 from 1000 rpm up. keep increasing the values for each rpm point until the car hesitates from being really rich then back it off a few points. that should get you there in better shape than -50 would

The hack is when you increase the fuel supply in boost by using bigger injectors (usually eclipse/talon 450cc) instead of increasing the fuel pressure with a pump/fmu setup. It's kinda cool because you can run more boost than an FMU should support and it is more tunable than an FMU. Also you can run stock fuel pressure which id much nicer to all the fuel components. there are tons of threads on H-T explaining how it works and all the details. it's pretty elegant for being called a hack but it does have some shortcomings. happy searching

No ****. Its just that there is no "set" settings to use so I was being a jackass and telling him to set it to -50.
