VAFC problem
I put a VAFC into my CRX with the stock computer. I hooked everything up, but the throttle position meter isn't changing with how I push the pedal down, it either reads 63.7% constant or 91.3% constant.
The other problem is that the RPM is reading 3000 RPM at idle and at 3000 RPM on my tach it reads 9999. The pressure reading is perfect and right where it needs to be. Is my voltage wrong, and that's why I am not getting the proper readings, or is there something I have to do with the VAFC?

Re: VAFC problem (soundman)
First I would check if you're using the right wiring diagram. Then, go over your actual wiring and see if you've got the ground where it should be and check all the input wiring and output wires are correct. Also, you should check your "ect." settings and check the sensors. Initialize the vafc so you start fresh.

Re: VAFC problem (Trac226)
The wiring from the throttle positon sensor was wrong. I fixed that, but when I press the throttle down the voltage doesn't change. The RPM problem is still there. My car has 2 crank position sensor wires, and one wire is the wire that I am using now, and the other one shows zero RPM all the time. I used the VAFC instruction manual, plus the CRX factory service manual to hook all this up, but I am still not getting a proper signal.
