vafc hack question?
i have 2000 honda civic si drag turbo kit, 440cc injectors with vafc. have inline pro cam gears and headgasket, inline pro told me to lean out to -30. still running rich just wondering what you guys would recommend? im planning on driving around for couple of weeks before tunning. thank you for your help
set both hi and low throttle to these specs:
1000: -40
2000: -38
3000: -36
4000: -35
5000: -35
6000: -35
7000: -35
8000: -35
9000: -30 <-- just in case you over rev
this should get you around town boosting under 7psi. Where are you tuning your car?

hey i am curious i am running a drap 3 kit for the b16 on my b18c1 with 88,000 miles on the motor. the deltagate wastegat i have has the 7 psi spring in it. so i plan on runing 7 psi everyday. can i use those same specs for the vafc for my setup? i am worried because i seem so many different values on different websites and on here i dont know what is the best one.. any help?
i just tried to set the fuel curve... im sorry im not familar with the system and i cant figure it out. additonally the system did not come with a manual so if you could please tell me how to get to the proper setting it would be appricated.
i tried to drive around the block with just the setting at -30 (i went into setting then narr. thr. and set it to -30) and the car cannot go above 2,000 rpm's in first gear... is that normal?
thanks again

hmm..thats not normal at all. Do you have all the base settings right such as cylinder set to 4 and the arrow pointing towards the top right and sensors set to pressure and 6 in and 6 out? Plus are you going to run the hack or are you throwing in the fmu and check valves in there for the inlinepro fuel setup? If you are going to use the inlinepro fuel setup you do have to start with -30.
hey b18b98 running the settings u posted i can run the hack with those settings without checkvalves and fmu right? i dont want a fmu or checkvalves what do u think?

i do have the base settings right. cylinder is at 4 with arrow in the right direction... i also have 6in and 6out..... i have an fmu its the 12:1 that comes with the drag kit.... im only using -30 because i called inline pro and thats what they told me to do. it didnt work very well so i was wondering what you guys thought about it, i.e. ive already called them 4x today. also i dont know how to get to those settings for rpm range and the fuel curve that you told me about previously, could you walk me through that? my check engine light just went off so i dont know maybe its my 440cc injectors i put in; maybe i did it wrong but i double checked everything?
thanks for the help sorry for the book

Ditch the fmu if u do the afc hack!!!!! you are running hella rich. Better check your plugs they are probably fouled.
For the afc hack all u need is:
afc
440 injectors
no check valves, no FMU
id say start at -38 across the board and richen it up top.

the only things i have done to the afc were these... narr. thr. -30 all the way across the board from 1000rpm to 9000. additionally i made the sensor type 6in 6out, i punched in 4cyl. and arrow up and to the right corner. im not sure what else to enter? additionally im not familar with the vafc so if somebody could walk me through the process and tell me what exactly to do (entering the text into the computer) that would be great.
thanks alot

you would need atleast an 8:1 fmu and an upgraded intank or inline fuel pump and you can use the safc to fine tune it.
