vafc and chip?

I am wondering if i can chip my ecu with crome and then just use my vafc to moniter some things like tps and stuff. I have heard that using the two together can cause problems but i will be using the chip to control everything and have the vafc settings all at 0 and just use it for monitering.

Sure it could be done but honestly, what is the point of having a 275 dollar TPS gauge?

well i already have the vafc installed so i just want to leave it there. but i heard even when its all at 0 it can still mess with the ecu and the chip and vafc sorta fight between each other.
