V-Band
Seeing as you can v-band most things in an FI setup, why has nobody come up with v-band for turbine to exhaust mani ?? As I've had problems in the past with nut, bolts and studs coming loose and the fact that they are a bitch to get off with rust, bolts/studs cross threading and/or breaking I thought that it would be real nice to have a complete v-band setup.
I would have Turbo-DP, Mani to WG and WG to DT but the missing link is Turbo to Mani. Is there a v-band Turbo to Mani in existence? Its a real bitch to get the studs off this when it comes to restudding or changing things...

The Ford Powerstroke turbos are V-band at that location. There are many others as well but they all use Vband designed turbine housings.
The aftermarket turbos most of us use on your cars are not made with those because the "general" buyers do not go to the extra effort to Vband that joint. You could fab an adapter or weld something to the housing and manifold....but I would be worried that the extra parts between there would push the turbocharger assembly too far down (problems with smooth oil drain lines, etc.)
I'm not saying it can't be done or that it has not been done.....but how much do you wanna spend and how much effort do you want to put forth?
