V-band?
its not that its no welds, becuase you still need to weld the Vband flanges on . its just for ease of removal becuase you dont need all the bolts like a reg flange. its similar to like a T bolt flange or coupling flange if you will .
Not really. . no . trust me though its alot easier. i fucked my radiator up many of times with the reg dp flange. not enuff space. now i can angle my vband how i want it to get a ratchet or ratcheting wrench on it much easier without struggling and busting my knuckles and my rad

I'm not trying to downplay V-Band...hell if I had the money I'd be running a V-Band downpipe and maybe even v-band charge pipe! Only v-band on the car right now is on the TiAL blow off valve.
$140 for 2.5" stainless steel vband at http://www.cheapturbo.com. Thats what I'm getting.
Yeah makes things alot easier. I'm doing vbands on the dp, the cat, and the muffler on 3" ss mandrel kit from kteller so I can switch them out for straight pipes or different muffler's when I feel like it. I'll be getting it all tig welded.
