Default using 4 bolts on a 5 bolt dp flange.

i just fabbed my own full 3" dp and welded one of the holes up on the dp flange and was wondering will it leak air with only 4 bolts. this going on a sc61 with inlinepro ss manifold on a civic si with a/c.

as long as you get the 4 bolts in tehr egood it shodult leak. it shoudl be all good. also dp looks good .

Kinda hard to see from the pics, but if that 5th bolt can still sit flush against the flange, then you can use a Dremel tool with a small cut-off wheel and cut a slot on the flange. Then all you'd have to do is start the bolt onto the turbine housing first and then hook the DP flange onto the bolt, install the other 4 bolts and tighten.

I am onlly running 4 out of 5 bolts on mine and it is fine. I am missing the same one you are. the way the DP was made there is no way i could fit it on there. No leaks or anything.

Couldnt you guys put a stud into the turbine housing for that one bolt.. and just use a nut on it?

I am using studs on all 4 but if I put one in there it would hit the DP.
