Default Is the use of a Turbo oil feed restrictor plate a good idea?

I have a precision sc34 (older model), i was curious if i should get a oil feed plate with a restrictor or not. I know some people run them and some dont, i just want opinions. Id rather have more oil than not enough but dont want to over do it.
Thanks in advance
