Use smaller brakes for more acceleratiion?
as title says:
If I were to put some smaller/lighter discs on my car, would my ETs be lowered?
as with using lightweight wheels and flywheels, its all part of the rotating assembly.
or it this a waste of time? and or dangerous. ?

When it comes to brake rotors, I think the gains are miniscule. So miniscule that the safety sacrifices you would have to make wouldnt be worth it.
The difference in wieght between a 12" rotor and a 10" rotor are very small.

ya, the only way i see you dropping times from lighter brakes is to remove them alltogether, stupid of coarse. it would be like pulling your e brake to stop everywhere, which as fun as it sounds IS a bad thing.

or if you want to spend the money, carbon brakes are a lot lighter and stop better from high speeds, but a set up costs about as much as a used honda
