Upgrading internals?
I am looking to go FI but I dont know what internals I will have to replace if any. If someone could shed some light on this for me it would be appreciated.
For the following setups will i have to upgrade internals?
Drag Turbo Kit 7-8 psi
JRSC
Rev Hard Turbokit
THNX btw I have a gsr with apexi n1 exhaust, aem intake.

Re: Upgrading internals? (lkshs123)
technically yes...but I highly reccomend getting at least new rods and pistons. I blew my stock pistons on my b16 even with hondata and a good tune. You CAN run on stock internals, its just a "saftey margin" if you will to upgrade to forged internals.

Yes you can run the kit as it comes, but there is always room for improvement..........as long as your engine is in good runing, you will be fine, and keep it at the 6-7psi

Yes this was waht i was thinking about. Is it hard to blow pistons and rods on a gsr with a turbo at low psi? Also how hard/expesive is it to install rods and pistons, my friend has a shop with lifts and all the tools ill need btw.

does the drag or revhard come with injectors?
if not, you will want to replace your stock injectors with at least 440's.
hondata and good tuning=no need for pistons, rods
7-8 psi is cake with the right tune.
