I have a Built b16a.
Srp 8.5:1 Cr Forged Pistons
Eagle Rods
B16a Head + Type R Cams.
T3 t4 60 Trim Turbo
Log Manifold.



I am thinking about upgrading to a Type R Head, Type R Intake Manifold + TB.

On Average, how much HP Should i gain with proper fuel?
Is it worth the Upgrade?
Will this setup Raise my Powerband much higher?

 

Keep your current head because the power difference will not be that significant. Change out to the ITR intake manifold and TB though.

 

But the head is ported.

 

the head has a mild port from factory cause they hand port all the type r heads, but they also have the dual valve springs and everything in them. However you already have the cams, why not just port your b16 head with the money that you would be spending for the ITR head?
