Update on H22 ARP Head Studs
I got a post card from Summit today telling me that the bolts are on Back order.... no kidding
. ARP has not yet even made them yet. But, Summit gave me an expected ship date for 6/4.(fingers crossed) Thought you guys might want to know.

Why don't you just buy them from ARP? They're backorderd there but when they get in stock they'll ship right from the source right?
I will hold my breath and hope they're ready by July at the latest.
call ARP directly and get the real story. i spoke with them last week, and they said the studs were in the grinding shop, which meant around 2 weeks to go. i had to get my motor back together, so i went with new stock head bolts, so i haven't checked again.

you mean what's the physical difference? a stud is just a length of threaded rod, basically. it goes into a threaded hole on one side, the other piece slips over it, and then a nut goes on the top. you crank the nut down to tighten the connection. a bolt has a head on the top which you turn. as you tighten a bolt, the entire thing rotates in the threaded hole. when you tighten the nut on a stud, just the nut turns.
generally, afaik, studs hold better, but are a pain in some places.

Did anyone get them yet? Where else besides Summit can you order them? Any distributors on this site? Want to do a Groupbuy? I have 5 already!
