I'm getting ready to start buyin turbo parts for my ls v hatch. This will be my first boost project so i wanted to come and ask if there is anything (with boosting this motor) that i should be REALLY aware of and make sure i do other than the obvious block guard pistons blah blah blah. I am building apposed to those who just through a kit on and call it day. so basically anything that commonly gives ppl problems with ls vtec boost or?

Just search alot and start piecing it together. Look for good deals on a mani/turbo/ic/ecu/injectors or whatever. and good luck!

 

yeah thats what i plan on doing. im not gonna cut corners by buying cheap parts. gonna start ordering now so this winter it will be all ready. just gotta send it out to be machined and whatnot and but together. Do you know of any common problems with this kind of build *Ls dx* or?
