Default Uh oh.. CEL!

Last night after the hang out was broken up by our favorite Miami-Dade PD officers, I'm humming along Bird Rd. and get into the boost a little bit, then suddenly my CEL rears it ugly head. What's worse, my car was nearly undriveable! I mean under 3k rpms, no matter how much throttle you'd give it it simply would not accelerate. I could actually hear the turbo trying to spool itself up, but the car wasn't going anywhere unless it'd give it some clutch and slip it pasy 3k till the car would finally jerk forward and accelerate a littlle. Also, the idle was stuck on 1200 like a rock. Well I didn't have tools to disconnect the battery, so I tried to clear it by pulling the ECU fuse, didn't work but... my car did now behave normally (with the CEL on still) after restarting it. I went home and pulled the code, #3- MAP sensor high/low voltage read . Now according to my V-AFC, the sensor was seeing .04 bar of boost, this may seem like too much for the MAP to see, but up until last night, whenever I'd boost, I'd always see between .02-.04 bar at the MAP. So.. could this be a missing link going bad? Or worse, my MAP? Is it possible to damage the MAP physically with boost? After clearing the code it ran fine, but this morning when I got on the boost again.. CEL!! and again the same driveability problems (had to turn off my car in traffic and restart it to be able to drive it). I hopeing somebody may have an idea because I know it's my MAP going crazy, my questions is why now and not before? And what steps should I take now?

You sure the missing link is in the right direction or something (although your car would really not work in this scenario)? When I had my V-AFC, it would never show positive pressure at the map with the missing link installed correctly.

Well I took out the missing link and cleaned it, tunrs out the little hole that lets pressure escape was kinda blocked by some kind of black buildup. After cleaning it up and reinstalling it, no more CEL's. Although yes my V-AFC does still report .04bar under full boost.. guess it's a freak thing but hey, it works fine so I'm not messing with it Thanks Dustin
