Default How come does one prevent a CEL with the VFAC hack

Ive heard with the hack u can run up to 10psi of boost, how is this so when i believe the CEL comes on as soon as the ecu sees any boost (ive searched it out)
I know its a map limiter but still the ecu has to read some boost right?

The MAP sensor takes vacuum/boost and creates a voltage output. On a stock car, this range is usually about .95v (idle) - 2.85v (WOT).

If the ECU sees the MAP voltage go over 2.85v, it will set a code.

The use of a VAFC allows the MAP sensor to see the boost (which will make it output more than 2.85v) but in turn, it trims the voltage going back to the ECU to around 2.85v.....end result, no MAP code (but then you'll probably have to deal with the BARO code).
