Is your map tuned for 12 psi?

That should make a light bulb go off in your head...

Assuming your motor can handle it, you can just tune your car for 12 PSI. Your fuel and timing from 0-7 PSI shouldn't change when you set your boost controller for 7 PSI. Tune for 12 PSI...turn down our boost controller from 12 PSI down to 7 PSI, make a pull to make sure you AFR's are still good. If they are, then burn your chip, and just use your boost controller to switch back and forth between 12 and 7 PSI.
