The guy doesn't even know what Uberdata is and you're gonna suggest a complicated setup like the Ostrich?
Boro_DC2,
Once the Uberdata site comes up you can read up on it there. You can also check out the Keebler site in my sig. But Uberdata is a free program that allows you to adjust your ECU parameters. You can adjust your fuel, timing, VTEC x-over, injector sizes and a lot more. It's a lot like a standalone, but it's based on the Honda ECU code and it is free. All you do is modify your stock ECU to accept a chip. This chip is plugged into a chip burner, which plugs into your PC or laptop. With Uberdata you make changes in the program to your fuel, timing, etc. Once you are done adjust your fuel, timing, etc you save that information to a file. Then that file is burned to an ECU chip which get's plugged into the ECU. Your modified ECU will read the info on the chip which is running your custom fuel and timing maps.
EDIT: if you IM me your e-mail I can send you the latest stable version of Uberdata v1.7. You can open it up on your PC or laptop and tinker around with it to get a feel for it. The file is only 373KB, so it's not very big.

Re: (BlueShadow)
The prob with Uberdata is that you basicly have to read the entire forum over or else you'll encounter some sort of a problem. For the price though, you can't go wrong. Just make sure you research your *** off before you try anything. AND use their search engine before you ask questions.
For uberdata, the process is thus. Mod stock ecu to accept a chip (in same fasion for an 'ebay' chip), open up the respective stock uberdata binary file in Uberdata program, change fuel & ignition maps to your liking, burn to chip, install chip, turn key. Datalog, get a/f ratios, retune chip, repeat.

then maybe uberdata is not for you.....try to find a friend or someone local to help you with it.
uberdata works great when you have the proper widband o2 sensor setup. if you dont then your just gonna do more harm than good. take it from me. i lost a motor because of it.

I'm not very computer literate either, but after a little bit of time I started to learn the language. Just 4 months ago I didn't know what a chip was or even what it looked like. I didn't know jack about burners, romulators or how to modify a chip for Uberdata. About a month or two after first reading up on it I had my laptop hooked up to my burner, and I was burning my own chip. I even managed to hook up a datalogging cable to my Kenji chipped P28.
The hard part is learning how to tune. If you dont have any idea whatsoever about how to tune definately get a friend or somebody local to help you out. But this too is not that hard to learn. Once you figure out the language associated with tuning you'll know what everybody is talking about. You should start reading up on threads about widebands if you wanna learn about tuning your own car. If you know how to use Uberdata and you've learned how a wideband setup works then you're on your way to tuning your own car.

hehehe, just start out at keeblers site. Read up on how to chip your ECU. Then follow the below links on how to burn a chip a chip. And check out the other link I posted in on how to use Crome which is very similar to Uberdata.
how to chip your ECU
tuning with Uberdata
basic tuning with Crome (program similar to Uberdata), scroll down till you see pics with yellow in em
how to use a burner
If you download Uberdata you can start messing with it just to get a feel for how to adjust fuel and timing values. When you decide to buy a burner there are enough people around to show you how to use it. Or if you get a moates.net "BURN1" chip burner you can read the good instructions they come with and do it yourself.
