Default Type R differential limits.. need help

Hey guys

quick question.... I have a type r tranny with oem lsd. I'm shooting for the 450-500whp range this weekeend.

I've read some stuff about these units exploding and destroying your tranny. I was just wondering whats the likely hood of that. I know its a bit of an impossible question but i just want some input. I've also read some ppl makine 600whp on them and not having an issue... is it just the luck of the draw or is there a real problem behind it?

thanks

More or less how about the rest of the transmission to think about? You can live for a while but failures of gearsets and destroying LSD's will happen.
