need a filter to fit my turbo
k i looked high and low, but i can't find a filter to fit my gt35R. I am using a spoolin performance ramhorn so i can't really fab an intake pipe because i have no room on the drivers side. So what i am asking is. does anyone know a dealer or have a filter that has a 4 inch inlet?
let me know
thanks

Do any of you guys check with K&N to see if the custom filters your ordering flow the CFM needed to support the HP you plan on making? Youd be surprised how crappy the shorter/smaller custom filters flow because they dont have very much surface area.

dunno if you have a part store called winchester auto out there...when i first got my gt35r i was like crap i need a filter asap don't want to mess this turbo up like my previous gt35e all bent fins
but most definately k&n have a bunch of custom specs that will suit your application

ive tried to run numerous filters... they either fall off (even when secured really tight) i gave up, and now i run some mesh from a screen door, and clamp it on good

lol i have the same problem. I've been through like 5 filters. Finally i broke down and ordered a custom k&n that fits, but then that somehow mysteriously fell off too. So now i got another one with a ziptie leash incase it decides to fall off again

a leash... thats hilarious...
im just not gonna bother... screw it... i figure the only thing that will go through this mesh now is water... but even then, it would have to come in on an angle, and the heat from the turbo will probably evaporate it anyways

Or a bunch of dirt/dust that will destroy the turbo/engine over time. Its the same idea as running without an air filter on your throttle body. Its not smart, it WILL cause damage. Period. I have no problems with my filter falling off.

Was up in North Florida with Xsi-t and Mase. T4 GT35R. I can't remember the specifics. We only saw 5whp with no spool gain. I want to say went from 535whp to 540whp

More than double what that filter is rated at.</TD></TR></TABLE>
bro, i am sorry i dont have an answer for you. this was at 27 psi. i dont know, ill try a difference when i get it back on the dyno, but i also went 10.7 with it on.

Dont know what to tell you ... Although Mase is a Level 10 D&D Wizard I run the same filter on my own car. Never taken it off though
