Appears I need the 13115, not the 13116. I **might** be able to square this away with Aeromotive.

Haha! it's my fault for ordering the wrong one. I wasn't thinking about the offset on this fuel rail. Amazon can't do the exchange because it'll be the same part #, but they can refund me. I'm gonna call Aeromotive tomorrow to see what they may be able to do.

Well ****.. Aeromotive closed til Monday. Guess I'll just return this one for the refund then order the 13115. Either waiting for the exchange or refund/new order is gonna be a wait for the part. Block is going to the machine shop on Wed and should be done by Fri. I'd like to get everything pieced back together by next weekend but, if my hunch is right, Honda temper tantrums are sure to arise. Lol

I’m itching to assemble mine but I’m guessing it will be a month before I get it back from CSS, I’m going to start working on getting anything not needed under the hood removed in my down time..... down time is dangerous since it’s easy to start a 2nd project within a project

If THIS ain't the *****-effin truth!! I cut my fuel filter hardline yesterday and finished disconnecting harness and such and thought, "Hmmmm.. Maybe I should degrease and scrub my engine bay.." But then, I'd want to paint it. Weather conditions are just not what they should be for that. Lol!

Russell filter on now..

Another note, I discovered today this particular filter, the Inlet can be either side. So omnidirectional; if that's the correct term? Looks like I'll need to order a few more fittings. The ones I got in this kit will work, but just funny angles from where I placed my filter. Got about as much accomplished today as I could before the rain starts. Supposed to rain the next couple days, then I'll have a clear day to pull the block.

I have a d series vms fuel rail that had the correct bolt pattern for your fuel pressure regulator if your interested.

I'll keep this in mind! If it were black or red, I'd probably jump at this just to save the headache of return/exchange.

For sure man. I'm actually gonna be putting a single cam turbo together for another project once my awd crx is done. Its gonna be a bit different then most builds on here as it's gonna go into a 2000 Honda Insight and I'm gonna try to keep it as fuel effecient as possible. I still need to source a cx or vx tranny for it though.

Nice. The single cams are still too often underrated.

Aeromotive 13129, -6AN fittings, and Vibrant Nylon braided hose ordered. A tad over 210 bucks shipped. Not too bad. Supposed to be nice (but cold) weather for the 1st, so engine has to come out today. I'm gonna have to warm up a credit card for the machine shop bill.. Sigh.. I also still have to make sure I don't need new rods because of trashed wrist pin bushings since a couple pins decided to start walking. So this is unknown to me at this point in time. If new rods are needed, I will have to relinquish my clutch fund and get the rods instead. Leaves me 2 options at that point.. 1- I spring for another XTD clutch and **hope** that holds out for a bit on what could very well be pushing close to 400hp this round, or 2- keep the car down for 1 more month til I can get a clutch that won't sweat the new round of upgrades. I suppose if I keep my current turbo set at 17psi, where it had been, I shouldn't have to worry too much on the XTD.. Another sigh.. Either way, if I ONLY tune my A/F maps, I'm sure I'm 15-20hp over my previous tune at a minimum.. CP pistons bringing my compression down from 10.5 to 9.0 may work in my favor though. Ugh.. Too much for my poor Crown Royal drenched brain to process at this time..

Is re-bushing the rod small ends a feasible option to consider, or does it exceed the cost of a new set?

On the clutch....I'd wait. Remember how boosted94gsr roasted his XTD clutch in no time.

I honestly haven't looked into it but, I can almost swear I've seen "small end rod bushings" listed somewhere. So I'm pretty sure they can be purchased. I don't know what it would cost to replace em.

Yessir. When I first looked into them, I read a lot about them. LOTS of folks using em. What I deduced was that they ARE hit or miss. The company offers a 12 month warranty, at least as of now; I purchased a kit for my 01 Eclipse back in March. That one is holding well but it's a V6 N/A at around 220whp. I would probably end up waiting because like I mentioned, I want some reliability on a part so fussy to change. Lol!

Went ahead and swapped my motor mounts with the DNA Motoring mounts, VERY nice fitment. The driver side mount was a tad finicky, but otherwise went on with minimal fuss. May be because my stupid Jack kept shifting cause thos one lost a wheel. Lol!

They don’t look bad, it’s hard to justify the price difference between them and a brand like Hasport

Nice. My Hasport mounts showed up on Saturday. Getting closer to bolting the engine back into the car and closing Phase 1 of my build.

I’m using a competition clutch stage 4 sprung 6 puck. I am a fan. I would get the upgraded pressure plate if going over 350 for added reliability

And last update here until the block comes back from the machine shop.. Decided to freshen up the intake mani. The car is black and red so, I've been trying to keep a black and red thing going under the hood.

Prepped and ready for paint..

Painted and ready to cure..

To update some VALUABLE info, the correct bolts needed to make the AEM fuel rail work with the Skunk2 intake manifold for the D16Z6.. The fuel rail needs to use the Y7/Y8 rail bolts as pictured with Honda p/n..

And now a factory fit! No worries about having to fabricate anything to make it work. Hopefully this will help clear any confusion if somebody else stumbles across this problem with this setup..
