Default two questions regarding turbo and build

1: i was wondering how i can boost beyond the internal wastegate? do i use a boost controller? my t25 is set at 7 psi and im ready for 10 when i get the rods/pistons/blockguard in

2: i just purchased eagle rods and cp pistons. who here has installed pistons without ring compressor? im wondering if it can be done? please no flames..if it cant be done, please answer my question nicely, thanx.

the reason i ask about not using the ring compressor is that my friend just broke few of his rings using the ring compressor. he probably used it wrong by clamping it too hard but im scared..im on limited funds and i was thinking if i use my hand they wouldnt break.

You need to use a boost controller to trick the wastegate into thinking there is only 7 psi when there is really 10.

on a lil t25 you dont need internals to do it. if you wanan build boost beyond internal gate you need a boost controller. a nice manual one for a good price can be purcahsed from boostcontroller.com . also get a ring compressor, its relativeley cheap. and can be foudn at local tool suppliers.
