Default ok to timesert and boost?

is it okay to timesert this holes and boost the block? it will be resleeved of course.

If you're going to sleeve it, why not just buy a new bare block for 50 bucks?

EXACTLY! you are not gonna find a legit b18c1 block for that cheap. anyhow, back on topic please. anyone have any other inputs?

Absolutely. If he's sleeving he doesn't need a perfect block. I helped a friend nab a C1 block for 40 bucks with cracked sleeves at the top. No rotating assy., no oil pump, water pump, etc, etc, but it was perfectly fine for sleeving.

anyone else? just want to know if theres gonna be any sealing issues with the headgasket.
