Default Turbos from TurboCalculator.com????

Ok, I came across this website the other day, TurboCalculator.com....don't know if any of you have heard of this site, but its pretty good. I like the big variety of turbos they offer and at good prices.

Now, I was looking at the turbo that i want, but something confused me. I want a Garrett T3/T4 hybrid with a .63 A/R turbine housing and a 60 trim compressor wheel. I was looking at the the other options and obviously a .48 A/R turbine housing is small, but does it make a difference? Does it affect spool up time and how much power I want to make? I want around 350 whp so I know I need a good sized turbo, but will a .63 A/R or a .48 A/R affect it a lot?

This is going to be a daily driven B18C1 in a 97 GSR.

just to put in my 2 cents...i have experience with this company and i would personally go another route....shipping took nearly a month to get to my house...and their turbos are "rebuilt" and the one sent to me had a good deal of shaft play in it. i was not impressed... just some advice= go with someone reputable like cheapturbo.com....save a little more money and do it right the first time.. you will not be dissapointed if its done right

Nice, thanx 4 that bro....guess I'll be sticking to CheapTurbo.com

I knew something wasn't right. The prices they have for the same turbo on CheapTurbo.com are way less.

A good friend of mine here is having nothing but trouble with them. Voice mail is/was full, no response to e-mails, finally got the turbo, turbo was bad, etc.

ordered from turbocalculator. the turbo was bad out of the box. fins hitting compressor housing. center section leaking oil. didnt know until it was completely installed. voicemail was full. took a few emails to get a response. hopefully they will honor the 6 month warranty.
