I purchased a head from a guy that was boosting. I'm pretty sure they are gone, when I get on it I have smoke. Car is also a little hard to start probably from the oil puddling up leaking thru the seals. How can I absolutely verify the seals are bad? I'm almost 99% they are gone.

Advice? Suggestions?

Would this cause me not to make as much power? My car was just rebuilt so I know its not the rings. brand new type r block with ctr pistones.
