I know. The waste gate is placed just off center to the collector, dot like too much but it will be fine. Unless someone has a nice AC PS compatible mani for sale for cheap. And no I am not using the pictured waste gate, getting a Tial or TurboSmart. I was hoping not to have to cut the block webbing this is my turbo of choice. I will be fabbing up the down pipe myself with 2 2.5 inch 90 degree bends.

I used that manifold 10 times they are cheap but work fine. with a Decent wastegate I was about to hold 10psi within .1psi on a stock JDM GSR.

Also I went 11.25@125 with a bone stock LS with a holeset HY35 (370whp) with this same manifold.

LOL called Turbos Direct a local tubo company and the owner said he has never had a call about the GT3255b. He was kind of shocked. Is that turbo like a keep secret or something? Figured the owner of AZ's largest local turbo supplier would have sold a few of these in the past.

Thanks going with the GT3255B. a Ls Vtec running 15psi and only making 353whp and 254ldft, kind of low for that amount of boost.

I know the owner of Turbo's Direct. Scott is an awesome guy. Just because he hasn't heard of it directly, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. It's not the most common turbo outside of honda to use. There are TONs over applications through Garrett that are outside of a catalog that are not just sitting on the shelf. The best way is to PM me.. hehe.

Yep it was Scott talked to him again today, said he could not find that turbo and it must be a custom. It not though you are saying. Scott also told me a Garrett .50 trim .63 is a good choice and he can get me one new for $250.

for $250? umm.. no. I can call him at the shop and confirm that. I talk to those guys all the time.

But whereever you get it from, for $250.. (even if its a rebuild) go for it.

Are you calling his Cell phone or the shop?

I spoke to Mike today with Scott next to him and he said, quote: "No Way for a Brand new full turbo". "For a housing, sure, not for a turbo".
I won't debate it, but for the sake of argument if he truly did. then GO FOR IT!! That's a STEAL!!!

My tuner Tim at Xact Dyno gave me Scotts Cell number. Maybe he was quoting a housing but I ask about a turbo. If it is $250 then next pay day I may get the turbo even if the wife kills me, it is a great deal. Maybe I will call again. You should have brought up the GT3255B so they knew what I was talking about lol.

:D Make sure that is not one of those "Garrett style" turbos at that price.

I dont think Scott would sell cheap turbos. From what I have heard about Turbos Direct is it is a good turbo shop and they are trust worthy. Anyways I asked for a Garret specifically.

I'm not saying he does. I'm saying that either he mis-spoke, or you misunderstood. But I can't speak for him like that. So if that's the truth, go for it. I won't stop you.
