Default Turbo Gs-R

Iv'e got a very important question for someone who really knows their stuff, what size turbo as in trim size (t3/t4 turbo) will be best for a gsr, as in not too much lag but allowing the turbo to continue to spool until the redline. I was looking into a t3/t4 (.43exh .46 comp. trim) low lag, start spooling between 2500 and 3500, but how long will it last. And what do you think the max horse is i can go with such a turbo. Its a garret turbo. I appreciate the help. Thanks.

if you can't wait for spoolup, then I suggest a .48 a/r housing with this turbo that arturbo is refering to. There is very little lag, but you will not net as much horsepower and your highends will lag.

As for teh same turbo that arturbo is reffering to, they go for 530 shipped around my neck of the woods. this is a new garrett unit

ill look for some more mannys too for you

it you want to feel quick spool no lag and full boost by 3500 rpm...than ill take you for a ride...but it will noticably die in high end rpm band....but midrange is not to be contended with....high end , a diff story

Unfortunatly it seems there is no true happy medium, i dont minde some lag, but too much is too much. Its not a track car, i just want a fast street car. I want it to be spooling by 3500 maybe not full but almost and i want to fell the power until 7700 - 8000. What size housings does your turbo have? Thanks
