turbonetics 5 bolt housing is not same as garret 5 bolt? DAMN!
I have an DRAG III kit installed in an Civic with an T3/T04 Hybrid, but it is too laggy on 1.4 litre displacement. Now I bought an new Garett T3 with an 5 bolt exhaust housing. I got the turbo and it does not match the 5 bolt downpipe. The Garett flanch is bigger, look. What should I do now. Buy an new flanch and do that stupid welding work to get the dp fit. Can I change the housings of the turbos?
But a T3 flanch is a T3 flanch, right? Or are there differences too?

As far as I know a T3 flange is a T3 flange..
Don't know about the exhaust side. I've heard there are quite a few different DP side bolt patterns out there though..
I would guess you just swap it with the turbonetics if the turbine is the same..

Nope some are bigger than others, evoeone had the same problem w/ his. i think turbo's w/ the internal wg option have bigger flanges. here's a pic of the difference...
