i want to turbo my b16a2.. i am lookin at the full race kits for a 89 civic/crx ..local speed shop said to boost 5psi max? what can i run safley on stock block? i was told 8 from some people.. and ive seen sohc vtec running 8-10 psi? someone help me out...thanks

 

Every motor has their own limitations. I've seen some setups break pistons with 12psi while others can handle more boost.

 

Im turboing my b16a2 as we speak with a garret t25bb n hondata s200b and theres no way im boostin more than 6psi as im using stock block plus its a small turbo anyway
