Quoting from another car enthusiast site. . .
Someone cracked a joke about the Taco Taco crap on the ad.
""""I guess the jokes on me, cause I bought my first turbo kit from this dude. It was a T3/T4 chinacharger with a tubular cheap chinese stainless **** steel that resembled the BEGI tubular manifold, and an outlet elbow. I actually got this setup to work and used a FM Voo-doo box for FMU. I took me forever though...I had to fabricate all kinds of ****. I think it was like 3 months? The car actually felt pretty wicked for 8psi. Then after no ****, like 500 miles, the turbo decided it didn't want to stay together anymore; and the CHRA bearings blew apart. The cheap POS manifold cracked also. So I wasted $600. Ended up buying a cast manifold from FM, along with the turbine outlet and SS downpipe. I put over 20,000 miles on a SR20 T25 that I rebuilt, and haven't had a single issue. The first rule and second rule of fight club is you do not talk about fight club, but the 3rd rule should be...You do not buy cheap chinese garbage from an ebay user named ILOVETACOTACO."""

Most people here suggest piecing it together yourself, part by part. Shopping around, taking your time = big savings. Get into the market here in H-T and look around, but security should be an obvious first step to owning a Honda, and suspension + Brakes being the first step for a FAST honda

heres a run down of my turbo set up that i have sitting in my room for my d15b.

Garrett t3 .42A/R- had it for 2 years in my closet
RC 440cc injector- also had for two years in my closet
Greddy intercooler, piping, and BOV- $200
tial 38mm wastegate- $60
obx tubular mani and 3" downpipe- $140
ractive oil pressure and boost gauges- traded tail lights

all i need is the oil lines, 3" exhaust piping, and a good tune. im gonna run the vibrant stealth muffler. im gonna run with that manifold till it cracks then upgrade to a better one. for my security i was able to cut a deal for a viper system for only 150 new in box.

my DD consists of

Civic CX manifold with adapter plate
dsm 14b turbo
Greddy RS BOV
XSpower front mount + piping
DSM 450cc injectors and resistor box
custom made downpipe (nothing special)
tuned on CromePRO

10 psi for 2 years solid now, headgasket popped on tuesday (had to happen sometime, stock 130k d-series haha)

so there's your dirt cheap turbo set=up that will net you 200whp easy, while not using aforementioned china-charger hahahaha 95sloweg got his done on the cheap too, but also looks like he got some damn good deals.

it helps when you know someone who gave up on boosting thier d after snapping two different cam gears. he didn't have a tune.
