Default turbo xs RFL, adjustable?

like the title says i just won one on ebay already on a pipe, i was running a DSM bov and it sounded great at high rpm, but i wanted a good sound all the way through the rpm range. so i put it on tonight and i go for a ride and it dosent make ANY noise ... so i feel the srping rate and its pretty stiff, is there a spring i can buy for low boost( im running 8 Lbs daily on my turbo SOHC ZC)

any input would be awesome

open that bad boy up and see if there is just one spring or 2 springs in there. im not to familiar with your bov but the greddy has 2 spring. if it does take one of them out and see what happens

yeah i got me an ebay "rfl" and the spring is damn stiff. i had to cut it a couple of coils off of it. i cut off like 5 coils and it seemed too loose after that so i just added washers to it. id suggest cutting off like 1-2 coils at a time to see if you like the sound. and if you end up cutting too much then add the washers and youll be fine. im also @ 8 psi.
