turbo transmission
i tried to do some research and i am getting conflicting anwsers, what transmission is the best for a b16 turbo with a cable clutch?? s1 or y1 or a1 i have heard all 3

Depends on what you want. Do you want a short geared, quick accelerating tranny or a long geared, top end tranny?

well when i drive my car it feels like i am going through the gears so fast and what i want is a good top end thats not to bad about acceleration, not just for a 1/4mile would like it on the street

ahh I missed 'cable'. the b17 (92-93 gsr) came with a ys1, I'm unsure if its different than the DA LS's though. I was thinking hydraulics, sorry. There is a conversion you can buy. I remember seeing it in a thread on here.

well i have an s1 and i am looking for something longer w/ lsd is there one to suit my needs or should i just lsd my s1 and be happy??
