turbo and timing

Im putting a turbo kit on a d16y7. I plan on starting out at about 4psi but bump it up to 10psi later. I was wondering if I will have to retard my timing?

i think if u get a kit like greddy or something...its not really necessary unless u want to just for a safety percaution
