Default turbo timer working crazy.... how did i install it wrong?

i have the newer apexi TT, the pen size one.

so, there is 3 wires a red, blue and green

red = connected straight to the + battery terminal
green = connected to the black/white ignition wire
blue = isnt connected to anything

then there is the other wires for the O2 and battery voltage and ****
grey = connected to the green wire at the parking break
white = spliced into the orange/black wire on the ecu <p72>
black = grounded

when i first start the car, the timer automatically just starts counting down and it wont let me change the display at all, i can only adjust the "count down time"

if i take the key outta the ignition while its counting down, the car shuts off, but if the key is still in the ON position it will start up if i press the clutch in without having to turn the key.

i didnt think it would be so fkn difficult to install a damn turbo timer....sheesh!

Did you read the instructions? Maybe it needs calibrating or something.

well, it jsut says the
red =12v cons
blue - ign 2
green - ign 1
unless your suppose to splice into the line and go from the key to the green and then the other end you cut go from blue to where ever it goes. hah

I think that might be the case. Because its going to need to simulate a signal in order to keep it running, and that could only be done if it was ran through the timer. My guess anyway.
