Default turbo timer question

is there a right time to use a turbo timer? should it only be used after track driving or should you use it everyday when you are out on the streets. Just curious.

anytime you've driven the car and done significant boosting you should turn on the TT. Why risk it?

I use the auto feature on mine so it always comes on, but if I haven't been hammering the engine then it's only on for like 10 seconds or so.

Ive seen on this board that it's a common problem. If i can remember where I read to remedy it, I'll post it here. But it was a while ago so I might not be able to find it
