Default Using Alarm as a means of a Turbo Timer

Hi, my alarm seems to have something called valet take-over where you can remove your keys and the alarm system will keep the car running for a pre-programmed time or a shut-down input is recieved. Any of you use this as a turbo timer, so I guess I dont need a timer after all?
