In my car, you have to turn the key quickly from the ON(II) position to the OFF position. If I turn it slowly to the I(1) position before going all the way to the OFF position, my car shuts off and the accessories stay on with the timer. If I do it semi-slowly, my engine shudders for a second and stays on.

make sure you tapped its power into a CONSTANT battery source. also, make sure you got the right ignition wire.

if the timer turns off, chances are you didn't find a constant battery source. hondas have spare connectors that you can use in the under dash fusebox.

I tapped into the wires that come out of the thing on the opposite side of the key hole. My accessories and everything stay on too. I'll try that fast turning off thing.

I got it fixed...I had it wired to Ign2 instead of Ign1. It all works fine now. How do you turn the sound off on the thing is my next question.
