Turbo surging....?....
I was just out testing the car a minute ago with the MBC re-tapped into the fpr this time as I had it tapped elsewhere before.
I keep forgetting to ask this Q, this has nothing to do with the MBC. I noticed that the exhaust note is surging a little on idling (as if someone is outta breath after a sprint...). It idles at between 790+ and 800+ on the AFC rev counter when I checked and it goes up and down in those ranges and also checked the air filter on the compressor and also noticed that its breathing also surges. Is this normal? It doesn't happen all the time, I can't seem to pinpoint a cause for this as it seems to do it at random. I'm thinking there might be a problem with the turbo as I'm not getting a consistent amount of power everytime I drive it and I'm not talking a few hp here and there but more like +/- 50hp.
I mentioned this in a post a few weeks before, when the car feels right, the wastegate dump is very quite compared to v.loud when its not running right. Times when it doesn't pull, it just drives me nuts
and I don't feel like driving it anymore but when it runs strong its
. This seems to happen at random on its own accord....I'm lost
Can someone enlighten me?

Maybe I should just throw the towel in and get a turbo oem car
Like maybe a R33/R34 GTR or an Evo VI/VII

The same kit and setup (AFC hack) was also fitted to a Del Sol (B16A) and is not experiencing any of the problems that I'm having now..
I'll be switching to Power FC soon, this is just to buy me some time while I recover some $$$.
