Default turbo specs?

i pulled a turbo off of a saab 9000(mid - late 80's).I was woundering if anybody knows the specks on it (trim,ar,etc)all i know is that it is a t-3 and the stock saab puts out 165hp (for that year w/turbo)...reason being since i added my intercooler (along with about 3 feet more piping) the turbo hits about 6 psi then drops down to about 2-3 psi at about 5k rpms up to redline....so i am thinking that the turbo is to small for my b16a and it runs out of steam with all the extra piping....this never happend before i added the intercooler because the turbo would spool up to about 9psi.....any advice or help

so you think one of the clams is loose?? that would make sense because one of the pipes already came off when i was only running 4 psi..i think i'll go double check all the pipes...a friend of mine tightend a few clamps under the car(in the bumper) so i think i'll check that out......so do you think this turbo is big enough..because i am using the greddy intercooler (until i can get a new endtank welded on) and it runs across the front of the car and then bach 1/2 way to the intercooler and then back to the other side to the t/b(way more piping then i would like)....how much hp do you think this turbo will support?...i am trying to get to the 240-250 mark and thats all....if i have to i will upgrade to a t3t4 but if i can meet this goal then i will be happy....plus if i get i t3t4 then i will end up changing my goal to closer to 300hp and that means more money thanks

isn't the turbo i have just a t3 and not a t3t4.....? i'm kind of confused now .ok the turbo i have what are the specs that you know of.......when i had it rebuilt they said that it was good for 10 psi and that is it....do i have a t3t4 hybrid? i do not know to much about turbo sizes....all i really know about are the common ones (t3t4 hybrid t3 exhaust housing and a t4 compressor for faster spool and more volume.... then just a t4...??,tdo4,t28 etc..) please set me strait... thanks again

I just got my turbo from a late 80's Slaab 9000. If you look in my post about the home exhaust porting you can see a pic of it. Check it out.
I know it has an a/r of 46. I have never found a stamping on the compressor housing. It is also only oil cooled and not water.
Also can you show some pics, I would like to see how it looks in the car. Detailed pics if you got em.

Cool, I would like to see some pics of how you have yours oriented, along with charge piping.
I am not sure what year Saab, but it was a 9000. I am guessing early 80's. I lucked out, mine has a factory reconditioned tag, and is in perfect condition. Thanks Ebay!!
either post the pics or email me.
