Default turbo sizing question

I was on a website today using a turbo calculator to choose which size turbo would fit my need. and it came up with a garret t3 witha a compressor trim of .60 a/r and a turbine trim of .82 a/r. My Question is the a/r on the turbine side to big and if so what kind of lag am I looking at on spool-up with that size tubine.

Heres the website

that thing gave me: Garrett T3 50 0.63

and honestly, i wouldn't trust it... the a/r is right, but its still too small for me i think. I think its a "what you want out of it" question more than a what one is right.

those turbo calculators aren't very good in my opinion. your best bet is to hit up a place that does turbos for import cars, and be realistic with them about your goals, and follow their advice.

Definately do not trust that turbo calc... seems like every H motor I plugged into it comes back recommending a tiny T3 and really low HP estimates... and an .82 a/r housing is really laggy btw...
