turbo size for '04 s2000
Hi,
I am looking to turbo charge my s2000 and want mid to high end power.
Does a Garrett GT30R with .86 a/r sound like it would do the trick? I want it
to be able to carry boost from about 3000/4000 all the way up to redline(8000).
Thanks.

The 30R is good for just about 500hp, however with the topend love of the s2k a gt35r might be a better choice.

This is what I'm running. It's a GT30R or GT3037 depending on who you buy it from.

It spools up VERY quickly (7 psi around 3000 rpm) and holds power all the way to redline. The best area for this turbo seems to be between 4000 and 6000 rpm. The last 2000 rpm still feels good, but the powerband is so fat before there that it's seldom necessary to rev that high.

I'd run the GT35R... For that displacement engine I think the GT30R is going to be too small. At least if you want to maximize the engines potential.
