yes you can with other provisions for fueling and timing control

now? no. with injectors and a chip yes. or half assed with an inline pump and FMU
if so would it be realiable???

No, bare minimum if using a missing link and FMU you need a walbro 255HP fuel bump. It will be reliable it was how most people did things back in 1998 and it works, just don't expect a whole lot of power. So per boostedcivicsir you will be reliable and cheap.
