As anyone made good HP and torque with CTR cams with a fully built b20vtec motor? If so, what was the power produced and at what psi?
Also is there any cams besides CTR that produces good and have stock idle?
If possible post dyno sheet with type of cam used.

 

the great thing about vtec motors is u dont have to worry about a lobing idle because of the multiple lobes in the cams. as far as ctrs go in my opinion the intake came might be a little to aggressive and cause some nasty overlap but then again that can be fixed with adjustable sprockets. if i were u id sell the CTR intake cam and pick up a GSR or ITR.
no matter which was u choose im sure either way will work fine

 

I just saw your civic and I the same set up as you. B20-v-tec fully build, 85mm bore and ported head b16. Anyways, what kind of power did you made? cool car too

 

never did race fuel and stopped at 393whp on pump

 

CTR cams in a LS/Vtec 2.0L = 550HP+ & 445TQ+ running on 17psi with VP C-16 fuel

**Note...I am going to try the B16 auto cams, I think they will make a better powerband because they make power sooner!**
